As the entire family were devotees of Sri Sathya Sai Baba,it was mandatory for Srinivas to go for Nagar Sankirtan in the morning, the Bhajan Mandir in the evening, and Narayana Seva on Sundays. Even during holidays, he had to go for service in free eye check-up camps.

On some days,he would go to the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) shakha in the morning without his mother’s knowledge. His maternal uncles were RSS pracharaks, and their influence was also on Ghazal Srinivas.

He enjoyed singing film songs, staging dramas, and singing for anyone who asked. For fun, he learned Harikatha and Burrakatha for a few days in his childhood.

When studying in 10th grade at Taylor High School,he attracted everyone by performing a modern Harikatha of “Shakuntala” during the annual day. Ghazal Srinivas performed a mono-act as Duryodhana and received much praise. His interest in acting was strong from childhood.
