  • Received the title “Maestro” from Jnanpith Award recipient Dr. C. Narayana Reddy on May 12, 2003, at Ravindra Bharathi Auditorium, Hyderabad, in an event organized by Sukanya Arts.
  • Guru Raghavendra Vaibhava Puraskaram-2022 from Sri Mantralaya Sri Raghavendra Math.
  • Smt. Lata Mangeshkar Gaana Puraskaram-2022 from My Home India organization, Pune, Maharashtra.
  • Kabir Sufi Gaana Puraskaram-2023 from Kabir Bhakti Sanstha, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
  • The Andhra Pradesh Journalists Association honored Ghazal Srinivas Garu with the “Pride of India” award, presented by Dr. Kodela Siva Prasad Garu.

Government Award:

The Andhra Pradesh Government presented its highest state award, the Kalaratna & Hams Award, to Dr. Ghazal Srinivas in 2012.

Honorary Doctorate (D.Litt.):

Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, conferred the highest Doctor of Letters (Honorary D.Litt.) upon Dr. Ghazal Srinivas in 2007 for his services rendered to Telugu Ghazal and Indian culture as a life achievement.
